UNESCO—the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization—recognizes over 1,200 world heritage sites around the globe. I have traveled by electric vehicle to 3/4 of the world heritage sites in the US, 1/2 in Mexico and 1/3 of the sites in Canada. (Read about crossing the border and driving to Mexico City and to Baja). Including my carbon travel youth, I’ve been to over 100 WHS in 28 countries: tracked here. UNESCO also recognizes Biospheres ℬ around the world. Look through my posts below, and click to read about these fascinating world heritage sites!
